Vision and Mission Statement

The Triangle Jazz Society is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to the support, encouragement and presentation of live jazz. Our vision is to be the center of all things jazz in the Triangle. We accomplish the vision through our mission of connecting the people with the music.

In the belief that jazz is uniquely valuable as an American art form, the society seeks to foster increased awareness, understanding and appreciation of the music, and to bring the best in live jazz to Triangle audiences. The Triangle Jazz Society strives to honor the heritage and tradition of American jazz while actively participating in shaping the music's future.
